A glance of the Red Field Pecans’ orchard

Red Field Pecans

The Red Field Pecans orchard is located within the Viljoenskroon Agricultural District and derives its name from the reddish-brown Hutton-type soil upon which the orchard was established.

Hutton-type soils are inherently fertile and well-drained and provide excellent nutrition for Pecan nut trees daily requirements which equates to healthy and nutritious fruit which can, when consumed according to a GDA, be highly advantageous to human well-being.

Currently, all our nuts are handpicked and sorted, whereafter it is mechanically shelled and cleaned before being screened and vacuum packed by hand, thus ensuring that all our packaged nuts are fresh, clean, and safe for human consumption.

Unlike other nut processors who make use of imported pecan kernels, Red Field Pecans only uses its current-harvested stock, which means that Red Field Pecans products are always freshly packaged.
